God Wants You To Be and Have Infinitely More - Ephesians 3:16-21

Ephesians 3:16-21 New Living Translation

16 I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. 17 Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. 18 And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. 19 May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

20 Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. 21 Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.

-------------------------------------------------------------

This scripture is one of many actual prayers in the Bible.

It’s a prayer that our knowledge and intimacy of the Lord would grow deep, wide, long, high... so many dimensional and multifaceted is the Love of God.. experiencing it brings completeness to us.

But after talking about how much it does for us.. the prayer then points us back to God with two simple declarations about God that I want us to see today:

Verse 20: To Him Who is Able... to accomplish infinitely more than we ask...

God is able... He is able to do the supernatural.. what are we believing God for in 2016???  Are we believing God to work miracles in these next 30 days??

There is nothing (no disease, no sickness, no financial calamity, no relationship issue), that remotely intimidates our God. HE IS ABLE!!!!!!

Verse 20b: He is able to INFINITELY ACCOMPLISH MORE THAN WE ASK OR THINK

We serve a God of more!! More than we can ask or imagine. There is nothing that God cannot meet or EXCEED!

It’s time today to raise your expectation.

We have our thoughts and desires about what we want God to do... but God wants to bless you so much more.

Pray today with expectation – because He is Able to Do Even More than we can Imagine!

Have a fantastic day of God’s favor.

IN God's Eyes - You are a Mighty Warrior - Judges 6:12,14

I'm (YOU) are a MIGHTY WARRIOR

S. Judges 6:12 “Mighty warrior (hero) the Lord is with you. V. 14 “Go in the strength you have and rescue Israel… I am sending you.”

O. Gideon did not think much of himself, but God called him “mighty warrior.” Gideon didn’t really think he could accomplish anything significant – but the Lord told him to go as he was and that He (The Lord) would be with him and give him the victory.

A. Today in Jesus, God sees us similarly – as victors, warriors, heroes and champions. We are called his “masterpiece” created for great good things in Jesus (Ephesians 2:10). He wants us to simply go as we are in His strength – and He will guide and give victory.

We should not listen to the voices that tell us other than the truth of how God has created us. Those are the voices of “less” but God is always the voice of “more.”

So today, know that you are His masterpiece, a mighty warrior fit to go out in His strength.

P. Dear Father God, thank you for loving me and creating me to do great things for you. I will go as you have enabled me and lead me.

Love Is Enduring - 1 Corinthians 13:7

Love Is Enduring

S. 1  Corinthians 13:7

"Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance."

O.  Love, agape (Greek agapow) is never ending. This is the divine love. It is the love that God has for us. It is this love that allowed and moved Jesus to endure more than anyone else (Hebrews 12:4). It is the same love that should then characterize our lives (how we interact with each other).

God is so crazy about us.. He gave us His son Jesus.. to endure the hardships of scourging and crucifixion, so that resurrection power could be displayed and a new abundant life could be offered.

A. No matter how many times I just feel like quitting (relationships, family, ministry, etc.) I will pray and practice this love - because it endures and accomplishes great things.

Prayer: Father, thank you for your word and reminder that your love never fails. May I have the wisdom to put your love into practice each and every day ... and may it result in new opportunities because it is fueled by resurrection power.
