21 Days of Prayer - Day # 16, January 24, 2022 - Faith for Our World - Faith For Revival

Day 16, Monday, January 24, 2022

Prayer Focus: Prayer for Others (intercessors)

Faith for Our World - Faith For Revival

Dead things are coming back to life

Let’s pray for more people to be saved than ever before

Let’s pray that 1,000 people will come to know Christ Jesus through the influence of BLC

2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV)

14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Let’s pray for an awakening and revival!

President Abraham Lincoln called 4 National Day of Fastings

In 1863 he called the nation to fast during the Civil War

In 1867 not only did the war end but at the end of that Russia sold Alaska to the USA for 7 million dollars

The Federal Government has a surplus for 28 straight years

Some of the greatest inventions happened during this time

These are the results of what revival can do.

If it  happened before it can happen again.  So why not ask God “Hey God, will you do this again?”

The Fast for National Revival - The Samuel Fast

The priests had been corrupted and over indulged (such as Eli the Priest)

We fast so we do not let our bodies have control over us

1 Samuel 7:3-6 (NIV)

3 So Samuel said to all the Israelites, “If you are returning to the Lord with all your hearts, then rid yourselves of the foreign gods and the Ashtoreths and commit yourselves to the Lord and serve him only, and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.” 4 So the Israelites put away their Baals and Ashtoreths, and served the Lord only.

5 Then Samuel said, “Assemble all Israel at Mizpah, and I will intercede with the Lord for you.” 6 When they had assembled at Mizpah, they drew water and poured it out before the Lord. On that day they fasted and there they confessed, “We have sinned against the Lord.” Now Samuel was serving as leader[a] of Israel at Mizpah.

3 components of every great revival

1. Get right with God.

Just say “God, you can have it all. I offer my body and my life, from all I am.”

Walk through the body parts

2. Join with other Christians and pray for revival.

That’s why we do 21 days of prayer.

3. Go on mission for God.

They make themselves available to God in winning souls. They are witnesses  for God.

Let’s fill our auditoriums so that lost people can hear the Word of God.

Let’s plunder hell and populate heaven in Jesus’ name

So let’s pray for lost people this year to come to God.

21 Days of Prayer, Day # 14, January 22, 2022 Faith For The Impossible

Day 14  January 22, 2022

Prayer Focus: Faith For The Impossible

Nothing is impossible with God so why doesn’t the impossible always happen?

Mark 11:22-24 (NIV) 22 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23 “Truly[a] I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Ways that your faith can rise to the level of the impossible

Everytime you want to believe for the impossible:

When we remind ourselves of what God has already done

Jeremiah 32:17 (NIV)

17 “Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.

The best predictor of God’s present help is His past faithfulness.

Luke 1:26-38 (NIV)

26 In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, 27 to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. 28 The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.”

29 Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. 30 But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. 31 You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33 and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.”

34 “How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?”

35 The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called[a] the Son of God. 36 Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be unable to conceive is in her sixth month. 37 For no word from God will ever fail.”

38 “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her.

For nothing in the Greek is no rhema (is the word for word)... logos or rhema

Logos is the Greek word for the literal word you read.

Rhema is the Greek word when the word becomes alive in you.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word.

Mary heard the word and at one point it became alive in her. Which is why Mary said, “may it be as you have said.

No word that God speaks, when revelation to you, will be void of the  power for its own fulfillment.

It will happen on the inside of you.

What have you ever thought  that was impossible?

You know what God has said to you and His word spoken into your life and you can say “No, God has called me to….” (whatever He has promised).

21 Days of Prayer - Day #13, January 21, 2022 - Faith For My Future

Day 13  January 21, 2022

Prayer Focus: Faith For Our Lives  Faith for my Future

Philippians 4:6-7 is the most highlighted verse on Amazon’s bible reading app.

6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

How many people are concerned for the unknown or our future.

The church is about to face huge persecution.

1 Peter 1:3-9 (NIV) 3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, 5 who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7 These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. 8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9 for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

Peter is saying that in heaven through our salvation by Jesus, there is an inheritance in heaven that cannot be taken away.  Despite that, we will face trials.

God has something for me there but I’ll face some stuff here.

We will face real life issues that will doubtless raise our anxieties. HOwever, if you really believe that God has an inheritance in heaven – that is if we have faith that God has something for us there, then do we believe He will get us through  things here?

How to have faith for my future?

1. God will be with me.

He’s not ahead or too high for me, He is with me.

Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV) 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Be sure to invite the Lord to be with you during your prayer time. Just say “Lord

I’m tired and this is too weighty for me, please come  and take it from me.”

2. God will guide me.

Ask the Holy Spirit to fill me and guide me.

Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;

I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.

3. God will fight for me.

2 Timothy 4:18 (NIV) I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;

I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.

If you’re dealing with some heavy stuff today, know this:

God is with you!

God will guide you!

God will fight for you!  In Jesus’ name!
